Rune names and Unicode identities
This collection follows the commonly taught 24-rune Elder Futhark order while preserving the official Unicode identity of each character. A familiar editorial name may therefore differ slightly from the formal Unicode name.
Unicode identifies runic characters, but it does not define modern divinatory meanings or guarantee one historical transliteration. Use specialist historical sources when meaning, period or regional usage matters.
